The Athletic Physical Examination must be completed on or after April 15 to be valid for participation in the upcoming school year. A digital copy of your sports physical will be required to register for your sport.
St. Mary's co-curricular goals are to help each participant to grow physically and spiritually, to teach Christian values, character qualities and team value through team prayer, team masses and team unity. We hope to develop the whole person through our programs and activities and to have our students be positive role models and representative of St. Mary's.
At St. Mary's we want to provide all students an opportunity to participate in our co-curricular programs. Emphasis at the lower level will be on participation and learning of skills and not just on winning and losing. More than 80% of our students participate in organized co-curricular activities, which means eight out of ten students are involved in after-school activities. We have a no-cut policy in our activities for the ninth grade, as participation is very important to us.
St. Mary's has a strong and outstanding athletic tradition and is a member of the Western Dakota Association (WDA) and the North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA). We also have co-op programs with the Bismarck Public Schools and those opportunities are listed below.
